    Goodbye from Romance Novel TV
  • Author:
  • Published: Oct 10th, 2009

42-22009630After three terrific years, lots of romances and hundreds of new found friends, we’re saying goodbye.  Marisa and I thoroughly enjoyed creating Romance Novel TV, meeting and interviewing authors we  admire and most of all the chance to meet all of you – the readers that stopped by every day to chat about the books we all love.

We can’t thank you enough, but we’d especially like to thank the women that helped create RNTV each week, Kati Dancy, Buffie Johnson, PJ  Ausdenmore, Stacy Ahlgren. Stacey Agdern, Gannon Carr,  Andrea Williamson and Kate Garrabant.  We couldn’t have done it with out them and it certainly wouldn’t have been half the fun.  Thank you ladies one and all for your tremendous contributions to the site. We also want to give special thanks to authors Anna Campbell, J.R. Ward and Trish Milburn – amazing authors and amazing women! Class acts every one.  A huge thank you for everything.

We certainly won’t disappear from the blogosphere – but we’ll be putting more of our efforts into our television productions and social media projects. You can visit Maria at her TV production website – www.marialokken.com, or follow her on Twitter @Maria_56.

Thank you all for giving us the opportunity to laugh together, read together, and have terrific discussions.

With love,
Maria & Marisa

Many thanks to Maria and Marisa for creating this wonderful place for us to discover new authors, new books and, most importantly, new friends. It’s been a blast! Best wishes to the two of you and to my RNTV sisters for continued success and happiness.

To our posters, thank you for sharing your love of romance through your comments and for your heartwarming words of encouragement over the years. I hope you will continue to visit all of us at our other internet homes as we say farewell to RNTV and set sail on new adventures.

What an honor it’s been to know you ladies, Maria and Marisa. You are a class act and the cyber world will be dimmer without you there.

Romance fiction owes you a debt in highlighting our genre in such a postive way. On a personal note, The Romance Bandits were thrilled to be a part of it. Our annual January “invasions” were a blast and we are already looking around, forlorn and asking “Who do we invade now?”

Also I’d like to thank you for leading me to new friends i.e. PJ, Gannon, Buffie, Andrea and turtles…um, you know
    :-)

I wish you much success and hope you’ll stay in touch!

I’ll miss RNTV!!!! I’ll miss the wonderful community you’ve built here. I’ll miss our annual Bandit invasion! That was always huge fun! THANK YOU!!!!! And all the best in your future endeavors.

My best to both of you and my fellow RNTV friends as we follow our dreams.

SNIFF…so sorry to hear you’re closing down but so glad it’s to pursue things more in line with your dreams. Romance Novel TV was a unique site esp. with all the video interviews. Perhaps someone else will decide to step in and fill that void – but I doubt they will be able to do so with the class of Maria and Marisa. I hope our paths will cross again further down the road. You two lovely ladies have gone above and beyond in your quest to bring the light of romance into the lives of many, some who may never have thought to pick up a romance novel.
