I’m so honored to be September’s Mystery Book. I’ve been sitting on the sidelines and watching the game for a while and I must say you are all very good at it. I will try to answer your questions honestly and only take the 5th when I feel it is absolutely necessary. Let me start off by telling you a little bit about myself. I’m a book that many of you might have read, or least I’m hoping many of you have read. Although I have some humorous moments, I sit between light and dark, good and evil, hope and despair. I guess you could also say that I come first. See, I’m trying to play fair here. So dear reader, get your questions ready and try to guess by identity before 9 p.m. EST. I’m very excited to play this game.
Oh, there are a few simple RULES:
1.You can ask me as many questions as you like, but please limit yourself to 2 questions per post. (You can post as many times as you want)
2. Please don’t guess on the blog, or Maria and Marisa will have my hide. Send your guesses to alphamail@romancenovel.tv and put September Mystery Book in the subject line.
3. I will be revealed tonight at 9 p.m. EST.
The first person to correctly guess my identity will win a $10 Amazon Gift Certificate. Good luck. And as they say, let the games begin!

@ 8:15 am:
Good morning – so glad you could join me today.
Dear KH – the author who ‘wrote me’ is not new to the scene and writes in various genres.
Hi Cyclops8 – I’m not very good with dates, but I’d have to say I’ve been around for a couple of years. And yes, I’m delighted to say I have other books that further my story line and I get to appear several times.
Welcome Stacy – good to see you here. I am the first! I love being the first and wouldn’t have it any other way. I must say that I always think the first is best. I’m not sure the other books would agree with me, but they’ll just have to learn to live with it.
Emmanuelle- how are you this fine morning? Well some people would say I have a bit of the RS as well as a bit of the paranormal in me – but I do hate boxing myself in a corner with a label – I find it very confining; don’t you?

Marisa I’m ROFL, this is too funny!
Question#1- Do you have a torso of a man on the cover? LOL
That’s a joke, that accounts for the majority I think.
Question#2-
Can you tell us, Oh! mystery wise one, where the setting of the story takes place? Is it in Vegas, Australia, Mt. Olympus perhaps?

Hey Susan – I live to amuse! Unfortunately I don’t take place in Vegas, Australia or Mt. Olympus although I hear the view from Olympus is unparalleled.

Hi April – hope you’re feeling well this morning. I’m not an Historical Romance, nor am I a time swept; although I do love a good time travel, don’t you? I take place in present day but go back and forth in history.

Do you have a sibling relationship?

@ 11:35 am:
Mystery Book I have 2 more questions, if you’ll be so kind as to reply.
#1 Is your author a NYT bestselling author?
#2 Has the hero or heroine been to the Carpathian Mountains perchance?
Mystery Book
on Sep 9th, 2009
@ 11:41 am:
Hello Sunny – glad you could join us – Isn’t every book a bit of magic?
No siblings are ‘featured’ in my book.
Susan – my author is a NYT BSA. And although I love the Carpathian mountains my hero and heroine are not from there and they’ve never been there.

What history do you go back and forth in?

#1 what is your heroines occupation?
#2 does your heroine come from a big family?
Mystery Book

@ 12:02 pm:
Lucinda – great question – you’re really keeping me on my toes. My H&H don’t necessarily share a specific power, but you could say they enhance each others power.
Good morning Ann Marie, how are you this fine morning? I had to close myself up and waddle over to the mirror to take a look, but in fact, yes, my cover does contain ’scenery’.
Hey Leah – you’re getting very specific – good for you. Make me work here. My heroine does not come from a big family. As for her occupation, let me just say it involves a computer.
Sunny

@ 12:11 pm:
Mystery Book, if you’re H&H don’t share a power but enhance eachother’s powers, do these powers have anything to do with their work/occupation?
Did your H&H meet each other for the first time in your book, or have they known each other for a while?

Mystery Book #1 Does the heroine work with numbers?
#2 Setting : New Orleans
Mystery Book
on Sep 9th, 2009
@ 1:56 pm:
Sunny – I might be confused by your question but I think you want to know that my H&H do have powers but they have nothing to do with their occupations.
My H&H meet for the first time in this book.
Susan – My heroine does does not work with numbers. She does something a little more unconventional – and the setting is most definitely not New Orleans.

No Cyclops, he’s as far away from law enforcement as you can get with out being a criminal. He’s usually very laid back.
