Q&A with ALIX
RICKLOFF
Q: What song do you put on when you’re driving in your car?
A: I keep a few mix CD’s of everything from classic 80’s hits I
grooved to in high school to the latest Coldplay, Vampire Weekend, and DMB singles.
Q: What is your favorite Classic TV Show?
A: The Andy Griffith Show. I love the more subtle humor that surfaces in the
second and third viewing. Honestly, it’s not all Barney Fife slapstick!
Q: What is your favorite current TV Show?
A: I confess I’m not a big TV viewer these days. Most evenings I’m
in front of the computer working.
Q: Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes?
A: My flip-flops! I’m so glad it’s finally warm enough to bring
them out of the closet.
Q: What is the worst job you ever had?
A: That’s tricky. I’d have to say working in a retail clothing
store—eight hours of folding and refolding was excruciating. But it was
a clothing store on Oxford Street in London where I went on a six month work
visa so that part was pure bliss for an Anglophile like myself.
Q: What is the best job you ever had?
A: I’m living it!
I write because…. I have to. Otherwise the voices in my head would take over.
DANGEROUS
AS SIN: England 1815— Morgan Bligh has honed her body and her magic
into weapons, but she’s always lived by her heart. Yet to defeat a traitor
whose unspeakable dark power threatens both her worlds, she must forget her
feelings— because her partner in the hunt is wicked war hero Cameron Sinclair.
He’s broken her heart once, and from the looks of him, he could do it
again…

Another vote for Andy Griffith! Hmm…a tie between this and The brady Bunch for the top 2 classic TV shows from this group of Zebra Debut authors. Very interesting . . .
Love the colors of your cover!

Hi Alix, another Andy Griffith fan, I’m wondering if anyone ever watched The Partridge Family or Charlie’s Angels? What up?
You don’t watch current TV shows, so I’m wondering what you do when you do have free time?

Hiya, Alix!
I would have to agree with you that folding and refolding clothes would be the worst job ever. I hate doing laundry, I can’t even imagine how I would manage to get out of bed on a daily basis if that was my job…

Kris and Marisa,
Thanks so much for stopping by! As the other author’s answers were showing up, I have to say I was surprised by the number of AG fans out there among my sister authors. Hmmm…there’s probably some deep meaning hidden in there, but heck if I could tell you what it was! Actually I did watch The Patridge Family and The Brady Bunch (loved Keith and Peter) though I was never a big CA fan.
As to free time…what’s that? Honestly, between writing and all the sidebar stuff that goes with it, I don’t end with a lot of free time. I read. I watch movies–not the same as TV where channel-surfing can swallow hours. That’s about it. Boring, huh?
Cheers!

Hey Kim!
Yeah, I’m with you there. I think laundry is my all-time least favorite of the household chores. Though bathrooms rank right up there!

Hi Alix!
Yay for working instead of watching TV!!! We disconnected our cable and just do DVDs. I’m lucky to have time for THAT.

Hi Alix,
I think I would have suffered folding clothes for the wonderful opportunity to live in London.
I also love Andy Griffith. I watch the reruns on TVLand. Hubby is always complaining that our color tv is broken. Ha Ha.
