Q&A with DIANA COSBY

Q: What song do you put on when you’re driving in your car?

A: Soundtrack for Return of the King.

Q: What is your favorite Classic TV Show?

A: Andy Griffith.

Q: What is your favorite current TV Show?

A: American Idol.

Q: Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes?

A: They’re worn and comfortable black sandals.

Q: What is the worst job you ever had?

A: Each job has it’s own challenges as well as taught me an important life

Q: What is the best job you ever had?

A: Writing.

I write because…. I love it, it’s a part of who I am and as inherent as breathing.

HIS WOMAN: Lady Isabel Adair is the last woman Sir Duncan MacGruder wants to
see again, much less be obliged to save. But Duncan’s promise to Isabel’s dying
brother compels him to rescue her from those determined to bring down Scottish
rebel Sir William Wallace.

HIS CAPTIVE: Alexander’s goal is to avenge his father’s murder, not to
become entangled with the enemy. But his desire to keep Nichola with him, in
his home – in his bed – unwittingly make her a target for those who have no
qualms about shedding English blood.

:) Kimberly. Yes, I love the older movies and tv shows. They held complex simplicity, focused on issues of family. Love it!

Thanks Maria & Marisa for having us at Romance Novel TV today. And thanks, Kimberly for putting this Summer Sizzler package together!

    Hi Kim,

Yes, I love the older tv shows and movies. I love the focus on the complex simplicity of life, of a time when the story wasn’t smeared by special effects and blood. You can craft any emotion through a solid story, great acting and excellent camera/editing skills.

Thank you very much Maria & Marisa for having us on Romance Novel TV today! And, another thanks to Kim for organizing this wonderful event!

~Oh man, each soundtrack is AMAZING. Each one evokes a wide range of emotions as you write. The last three tracks of the Return of the King are what I used to write the end of Seathan’s story, the 3rd in the MacGruder Brothers’ series to be released November 2010.

And what a diplomatic answer about your worst job–LOL.

~Hey, it’s really true. We learn the most when we’re presented with life’s challenges. Thank you so much for stopping by! My sincere best to you and your latest release, “The Conqueror!”

Hi Diana! So good to see you here. A woman after my own heart – Andy Griffith… over the years I’ve grown to appreciate the subtle humor and wisdom of the writing and acting. It took the flu and 3 days of re-runs, but I was enamored.

~Sorry about the flu, but at least you found Andy. :) I love Ernest T. Bass. What a character! I’m also a huge Rocky and Bullwinkle fan. Wow, talk about subtle double-writing. Thanks again for having us. Have a great day!

    Diana,

Your books sound amazing and you have such attractive covers.

And I saw that you posted a link to what Patrik looks like.. all I have to say is oh wow.. he has the most beautiful eyes.

Andy Griffith – I used to not care for this so much as I watched on a regular basis with my grandparents afterschool (reruns and all), was one of there favorite shows lol. Now as an adult though it brings back warm memories.

~Hi Pam, thank you very much. If you try out the MacGruder brothers, I hope you enjoy them. Yes, I’ve been blessed with amazing covers. :)

And I saw that you posted a link to what Patrik looks like.. all I have to say is oh wow.. he has the most beautiful eyes.

~He does. If you check out Eduardo Verastegui’s photos on google.com, you’ll see some other muse inspiring photos. I was ‘introduced’ to him a couple of years ago, and knew he was Patrik when I saw him.

~:) I think that Andy is really intelligent and solves issues with common sense is what appeals to me. No high drama – from him, but solid, sound ways of acting/thinking. How refreshing in our intense media timeframe.
Thanks again, I appreciate your dropping by!

It should be on the CD. Annie Lennox does the vocals on the song. Is the soundtrack you have all instrumental?
