All day (Tuesday) it’s a celebration of romance authors – with a new guest author every 45 minutes from 9 am to 7 pm (EST). I asked 14 romance authors 6 questions and they were kind enough to answer. At the end of each author’s blog is a link to click through to Kimberly Killion’s website where she is hosting a Sizziling Summer Contest. The prize? A basket of “New to You Authors” which will include 16 of her
ZEBRA sisters’ autographed books + a $25 B&N giftcard.

I know your stories are written through character, but how do you develop the story? Do you do it from outline or chapter by chapter. Are you inspired by a situation or their psychological make up?

Hi Deborah, thank you very much for stopping by! Yes, my stories are absolutely written through character. They guide me throughout. I’m a major plotter, so I know the big turning points, but the characters guide me to each one.
I’m inspired by both their situation and psychological make-up. It varies on the story moment which weighs more. Bottom line, the biggest element that causes the most angst wins.
Again, my thanks for dropping by! Hope your day is great!
