Well, on the one hand, I see progress for the better in the writing in general--you can see from my review of Atlantis Rising, I had quite a few issues with it, particularly the worldbuilding. But the characters are getting better and their internal conflicts more compelling as the series goes on, IMO.

I’m with you Azteclady – looking forward to the next in the series.

Personally, I like the world Alyssa has built – it’s unique and draws you in.

I’m always surprised at the different worlds each author builds. I guess that’s why they’re the writers and I’m the reader.

I was fortunate enough to read an ARC of Atlantis Unleashed (my review is coming up next week) and now I’m quite impatiently looking forward to Atlantis Unmasked
