My books are well taken care of. Yes, some have been read so many times, they are coming apart, but I NEVER loan out a book of mine. I will buy another copy for anyone who asks to read mine. Each book has it’s own book bling (book thong). Some have been signed by the author and some have not. I love them equally. I have original copies of books I had as a child and they are worn but truly cherished.

Great lists!! I try not to crack the spine but sometimes it can’ be helped but I love my books and try to keep them looking new. If I dont’ buy anything else I will buy a book even before clthes (I have an addiction call “Bill” for me LOL)

I do my best not to crack the spines, never dog ear the pages, and keep them in decent condition. But since I have a ton of books and people borrow them all the time I have a few… ok several my husband chimed in that look a little worse for wear now. Many cracks, few tears, one that meet a bathtub which I have still yet to replace since I can read it… mostly…

Shame on anyone who gets spine creases in their books, LOL. Really some books go bad when reading them, others I can keep them like they weren’t read! I never lay out the book flat like I saw one person did and I’m thinking ‘its going to break!’ I’m very good to my books! They are precious

Andrea – each month your lists overwhelm me. You’re amazing!

They all look brand new . . . unless I had to buy them used for whatever reason, but that’s rare and only leads to another sick obsession of having to buy them new.

ME TOO! My local bookstore has a note on their system that I like my books to be PERFECT! It’s good to know I’m not the only one

BTW, I don’t live in the US so please don’t count me in when you make the draw
