Musings

nathan1.jpgI have a question to ask you ladies today.   Have you ever fallen in love with a character from a television show?  I tend to on a regular basis. This season my heart belongs to Richard “Rick” Castle from the ABC drama Castle.  Nathan Fillion is the brilliant actor who has brought Rick Castle to life and into my heart. For those of you who have never seen this show (you really need to check it out!), Rick Castle is a famous mystery/crime novelist who is asked by the police to help them catch a murderer who is copying the death scenes from each of his novels. While Nathan Fillion is a good looking man, the thing I love most about the character Rick Castle is his quirky humor and…

wildelori2.jpg        A terrible thing has happened. I’ve lost the joy of reading. It’s been gone for several years now and no matter what I’ve tried, I can’t get it back.

Once upon a time, reading was not only a great joy, but literally the emotional glue that held this extremely shy girl together. Reading has become a chore and I must force myself to do something that I once looked forward to more than a wickedly delicious dessert. I feel like my best friend has died.

I’m not sure when my best friend first fell ill, but I suspect the first hint of fever appeared the minute I started writing. To become a better writer, I started analyzing books, finding out what was wrong. Soon as I learned what head hopping was,…

Larissa Ione continues her track record of smoking hot, exciting paranormal romances with compelling heroes and entertaining heroines with the publication of Passion Unleashed. Serena Kelly is an archeologist, and a Marked Sentinel, on who possesses an amulet which contains a tiny piece of Heaven. The supernatural charm makes her impervious to injury or illness and can only be bestowed by the angels to one who is worthy of the gift. The catch to the charm’s continued effectiveness is that the charm only works if Serena remains a virgin. And Serena…

Betty Furness and 1950’s refridgeratorWe’ve been blogging with each other here at RNTV for over two years now.  And I’ve learned a lot about many of you.  I know what some of you carry in your handbags, how many shoes are in your closet and what’s on your reading shelves.  But I also think you can tell a lot about a person by what’s in their refrigerator.  You may think that’s an odd thought, but really it isn’t.  In fact if you put my refrigerator side by side next to Marisa’s you’d immediately be able to tell us apart.  I’m not going into details about what she keeps on hand, but I will tell what’s in mine. At a moment’s notice I could probably cook up dinner for twelve and never have to leave…
