OK, I was going to enter, until I realised that I had gone completely blank and couldn’t think of a book in which the heroine was a single mother and a book with friends —> lovers
GULP! Obviously two big holes in my reading list!
Good luck everyone!
OK, and now I’ve just looked at the comments and realised I could have included When He Was Wicked (which is my favourite Julia Quinn book after The Viscount Who Loved Me) and Flat-Out Sexy, which I read LAST MONTH! My memory is ATROCIOUS

@ 10:47 pm:
1. Lisa Kleypas – Smooth Talking Stranger…It’s a quick friendship, but I wish I had a “friend” like Jack!
2. Julie Garwood – The Bride or The Wedding…I love her older historicals. I reread them all the time.
3. Linda Howard – Cover of Night…Cate has twin boys.
4. J.D. Robb – Any of the In Death series. Eve Dallas is awesome and I wish a had a Roarke of my own too! Also Joanna Bourne’s, The Spymaster’s Lady…I’d consider Annique’s job as spy working undercover for the good of her country (or so she believes), an equivalent to a police officer.

1. ‘friends to lovers’.- The Runaway Duke by Julie Anne Long.
2. arranged marriage – By Arrangement by Madeline Hunter
3.Name a book where the heroine is a single mother – Suspicion of Innocence by Barbara Parker (series heroine is divorced lawer, raising her daughter).
Oh no, I’ve been reading this series along with my mother and sisters and just went to her site to see when the next book in the series might be coming and found she passed away after a long illness last month.
4.Name a book where the heroine works for the police (in any capacity) – Jane’s Warlord by Angela Knight. (Thought of Jeaniene Frost, too)

Thanks everyone for entering yesterdays contest. There are quite a few books here that I’ve read and loved and also quite a few that I haven’t yet had the opportunity to read. So, thanks for introducing me to some books I definitely need to pick up.
Well, we put the names in a hat, shook it up real good, and pulled out two names.
Congratulations to Maered and Angie – please send your snail mail addresses to alphamail@romancenovel.tv Please put ” Easy Breezy Contest” in the subject line.
Thanks again for playing and stay tuned, we’re going to be having another contest later in the week; I’m still feeling easy breezy.
