Below are words when strung together make up the name of a romance novel. All you have to do is replace the words I’ve written with another meaning for the word and the name of the book will be revealed.

- Definite article + dense growth+ preposition + something that can hold things + conjuction + choppers
- Fluid + articulating + foreigner
- Domesticated feline + increment + abyss
- Linking + indefinite article + consolidated mineral + conjunction + indefinite article + blood circulating organ + an area
- Gratification + preposition + definite article + banned + hollow in the land
- Also + sweltering + preposition + indefinite article + operative
- Leading astray + indefinite article + north of the island of Great Britain + female marriage partner
- Inquest + preposition + dignity

The first thing that jumped to mind for eleven was Trial by Fire by Jo Davis, but fire isn’t really synonymous with dignity.
Now I’m off to work on the others, even though I’m pretty sure Fedora is right.

So, after spending a bit of time trying to figure out the other 7 titles, I ended up with the same titles as Fedora. Here they are in order:
