Musings

lb_gobsmacked_500×75022-200×3002.jpgMy name is LB Gregg and I write m/m fiction for both ladies and gentlemen to enjoy. My stories take place in a small New England town, the picturesque and homey Smithfield, nestled snuggly somewhere in the foothills of the Berkshires. It’s a great place, filled with plenty of fit, firm and fabulous men looking for love in all the right places.

Gobsmacked, the first novella in my Men of Smithfield series, is available in ebook at Aspen Mountain Press . In March, Gob joins Amber Green’s One Good Turn in Smart Ass:Close Quarters, a new print series (of series) from the delightful folk over at MLR Press.

regularly.jpgK.A. Mitchell discovered the magic of writing at an early age when she learned that a carefully crayoned note of apology sent to the kitchen in a toy truck would earn her a reprieve from banishment to her room.

Her career as a spin control artist was cut short when her family moved to a two-story house, and her trucks would not roll safely down the stairs. Around the same time, she decided that Chip and Ken made a much cuter couple than Ken and Barbie and was perplexed when invitations to play Barbie dropped off. An unnamed number of years later, she’s happy to find other readers and writers who like to play in her world.

jola_adrienenglishmysteries_coverlg.jpgOver the past decade, multi-award- winning author Josh Lanyon has written numerous novels, novellas and short stories as well as the definitive M/M writing guide Man, Oh Man: Writing M/M Fiction for Kinks and Ca$h. He is the author of the Adrien English mystery novels, including The Hell You Say, winner of the 2006 USABookNews
awards for GLBT fiction, and co-writer of the Crime and Cocktails
series with Laura Baumbach. In June 2009 Somebody Killed His Editor, first book in a brand new mystery-romance series, will be published through Samhain. Josh is a Lambda Literary Award finalist.

Readers unfamiliar with the M/M genre will probably be most interested in the unofficial bio, namely, I write about men falling in love with men — usually within the context of a mystery / romantic-suspense or action
adventure. I…

myfaircaptain72lg.jpgJL is a full-time writer, with over ten novels to her credit. Among her hobbies  she includes reading, practicing her marksmanship (she happens to be a great shot), gardening, working out (although she despises cardio), searching for the perfect chocolate dessert (so far as she can tell ALL chocolate is perfect, but it requires more research) and arguing with her husband over who the air compressor and nail gun really  belongs to (they belong to JL, although she might be willing to trade him for his new chainsaw).

You can find out more about JL and her books by visiting her web site.

10131598.jpgChris Owen lives and writes in eastern Canada, where the winds blow cool and calm on the good days, wicked and fast on the bad. There’s rain and sun, and in the winter there’s snow… a lot of snow.  A nice fire to keep warm, a nice pen with good flow, and a decent notebook are all that she really requires, which is not to say that the MacBook Air isn’t the best thing ever.  Chris went to a bunch of schools, learned a lot of things, and now makes stuff up because not to do so is unthinkable.

She’s inspired by the day to day minutia of life, and finds beauty in the way words go together. The author of almost sixty titles to date, Chris doubts there will ever…

blue_heart.jpgAlly Blue is acknowledged by the world at large (or at least by her heroes, who tend to suffer a lot) as the Popess of Gay Angst. She has a great big penis hat and rides in a bullet-proof plexiglass bubble in Christmas parades. Her harem of manwhores does double duty as bodyguards and sinspirational entertainment. Her favorite band is Radiohead, her favorite color is lime green and her favorite way to waste a perfectly good Saturday is to watch all three extended version LOTR movies in a row. Her ultimate dream is to one day ditch the evil day job and support the famiy on manlove alone. She is not a hippie or a brain surgeon, no matter what her kids’ friends say.
