England’s Virgin Rail posted a “no kissing’ sign at the passenger drop-off point at a Cheshire station. According to a spokesperson from Virgin the sign was an attempt to keep foot traffic moving. He was quoted as saying, “if people wish to spend a little more time with their loved ones before they leave, then they should park in the short-stay car park nearby”.
However, publisher Mills & Boon has launched a protest. They’ve set up Facebook and Flickr groups, “Kiss Goodbye to no Kissing”, and have encouraged people to upload photos of romantic station moments.
Well – next they’ll be posting signs that say “No Talking” and “No Thinking”.
