Eve Vaughn has enjoyed creating characters and making up stories from an early age. As a child she was always getting into mischief, so when she lost her television privileges (which was often), writing was her outlet. Her stories have gotten quite a bit spicier since then! Eve likes to read, bake, make crafts, travel, and spend time with her family. She lives in the Philadelphia area with her husband. She loves to hear from her fans, so feel free to contact her at eve@evevaughn.com., visit her website at www.evevaughn.com .
Three things you don’t know about me:
1) I have an unhealthy obsession with Barry Manilow.
2) I am pretty hard to stump in 80’s pop culture trivia
3) I hate clowns
Go to the Samhain website and read the synopsis, come back and answer the question – why has Joycelyn Winters returned home? and you could be eligible to win a copy of Eve’s book BROKEN.

Wow. Barry Manilow, huh? I..uh..I’ve got nothing… Since so many people hate clowns (i, myself am one), why are clowns still around? They are freaky and scary. And I can’t help but think of serial killer John Wayne Gacy when I see a clown. I’m with you. Down with clowns.

Hey Eve!
Wow, you hate clowns? Well, I similarly loathe mimes. Think it might have something to do with a childhood trauma in which my parents allowed a mime in NYC to pull me out in front of the crowd and pretend to shoot an apple off my head a la William Tell. I was a clueless, terrified 6 year old. My parents and dozens of other curious onlookers thought it was hiliarious. All this AFTER my parents had preached to me and my sister NOT to have anything to do with strangers…particularly in dangerous NYC. Ugh! Obviously, I’ll never recover! LOL
Trivia question answer: Joceylyn is home to celebrate her father’s upcoming wedding.
Btw, I gotta check this one out. I cannot relate to my father being married to anyone other than my mother, but I have a step son and have often wondered what it must have been like.

K. Nelson, yeah Mimes are pretty creepy too. I was sexually harrassed by a Mime at an amusement park once. Imagine thirteen year old over developed me, holding my little brother’s hand who was probably six at the time, and the mime is walking behind me mocking how big my chest was. In my awkward adolescence I was mortified. So yeah, I think Mimes suck too. LOL

Paige, I am the self proclaimed “Queen of the 80’s” I don’t know why but the 80’s just holds a certain mystique to me, even though I was a teenager in the 90’s. I just loved 80’s clothing, MacGuyver, the music, television, the hair, (I had a crush on a guy with a mullet), Michael Jackson was still black, and OJ hadn’t killed anyone yet. What’s not to love about the 80’s?

Well, Jody, my husband seems to think I have an unhealthy obsession with Barry Manilow, but I think I’m just a superfan. I have all his albums he’s the wallpaper on my computer. I basically know the words to all his songs, I even bought the movies with him on the soundtrack. I just purchased Barry Manilow does the 80’s. That’s like two of my favorite things in one! 80’s and Barry Manilow. It doesn’t get any better than that.
Okay, maybe that is a bit unhealthy. LOL

Hi Eve!
(Answer to your question: Jocelyn came home to celebrate her father’s wedding) Congrats on your new release!
Back in the day, my BF was the founder of a national Barry Manilow fan club. She had posters of him all over her room and spent every waking hour outside work tending to Barry business. Her obsession was so intense she was convinced she would marry him someday. When the news broke that Barry was gay, she refused to believe it. Was vehement, in fact, that the media was lying. I think it broke her heart that she’d never really have a chance with him.

Hi Eve. Most of us have a fascination with Barry Manilow. We sing his songs whenever we hear them.
Clowns are kind of creepy but I’m not afraid of them. My son loves bad movies and one of his favorites is “Killer Clowns From Outer Space”. It’s so bad you’ll not be afraid any longer. I put clowns in the same niche as 50’s horror movie creatures. You just have to laugh at them.
