Maria and I are handing over Romance Novel TV to 20 wonderful authors. Starting Monday the Romance Bandits will be here. Every day for 5 days 4 new authors from the Romance Bandits Lair will be visiting. It’s the second annual Romance Bandits Invasion. Anna Campbell and I put our heads together for the Invasion and came up with a way for all the authors to bring you a brand new story. I gave each group of authors a photo – THEY had to come up with a vignette based on the photo – YOU have to come up with the last line. The best last line wins a book. Great authors, new stories, great prizes.
Join Jeanne Adams, Beth Andrews, Anna Campbell, Kate Carlisle, Caren Crane, K.J. Howe, Joan Kayse, Christie Kelly, Jo Lewis-Robertson, Donna MacMeans, Loucinda McGary, Trish Milburn, Cassondra Murray, Nancy Northcott, Kristen Scott, Susan Sey, Anna Sugden, Tawny Weber, Christine Wells and Suzanne Welsh for a week where these authors take a break from writing their 400 page books and instead write a story based on a photograph that caught my eye. Be here for the invasion.

I don’t know if you guys remember the invasion last year? It was an absolute hoot! Caren and I did haikus for a whole day which sticks in my memory as a really fun way to blog. Anyway, you’ll love the vignettes! They’re brilliant! See you all next week for a PARTAY!!!

The story challenge was tremendous fun. I’m in the Friday group, which ended up with four very different slants on the same photo. We hugely enjoyed writing them and reading each other’s and hope y’all will like them, too. We’ve been looking forward to this in the Lair for weeks now.
Of course we’ll keep the damage to a minimum, but I can’t answer for what’ll happen if Joan’s gladiators or the cabana boys follow us in!

Fear not, brave RNTVers! We Banditas are a bit rowdy, it’s true, but it’s all in the name of fun. We love to laugh and have a good time and we are SO looking forward to doing that here once more! I don’t know how many haikus I wrote last year, but even I was almost haiku’d out by the time Anna Campbell and I finished our day.
No haikus this year (well, not that I know of), but lots of great “what happens next?” type action. See you next week!
