Thanks for the great review. I never heard of this author before, but was interested enough to buy it earlier today. (despite the cheesy cover!) I’m only on page 35, but I can tell its my kind of great read! The writing really is captivating. This is clearly not your average historical fluff read, it is meaty and character driven. If this book finishes as good as it starts, I’ll be quite interested in reading other books by this author.

Kate – I think what I’m most interested in is that these two characters have a long history together -and from what you say , one filled with pain and tragedy. That their romance grows from getting to know one another, helping each other and respect, well I’m really looking forward to reading all about it.

You’ve convinced me, Kate! Scandal sounds incredible. You’ve made me want to rush right out and buy it. By the time it hits the shelves on 2/3 I’ll be beside myself with anticipation.
