Great list, huh?  So, what are your MUST READS from this month or recently?  Which September books are you most looking forward to?
I’m looking forward to Mistress of Pleasure by Delilah Marvelle.  The story sounds very intriguing and one that’s right up my alley.  What are you reading RIGHT NOW?  I’m in between books as I write this.  Also, this month I was introduced to Sasha White’s books (with her latest My Prerogative) and I loved it!  Have you discovered a new-to-you author lately?  If so, tell us about it!

Until October, happy reading!

Well I’m a huge historical and paranormal fan, and just about all of them are on my “must get” list, lol, seems like there are always a lot in September. As far as “must read, ” I have already read Goodman’s The Price of Desire and can endorse that, must read, now my favorite book this year of those I’ve read so far. It’s just as good as If His Kiss is Wicked, almost a tie for me between the two, can’t quite decide yet; I like the heroines in both, but this one a bit more, which edges it out as the favorite for me. Another book of the year candidate by Goodman again for me.

Andrea, I totally forgot to add SECRETS OF THE KNIGHT by Julia Latham and RISQUE BUSINESS by Tawny Weber to our must read list.

Hey Pam! I think I need to check into Goodman’s books. I have heard so many good things about them. Must check ‘em out!

Hey there Helen! Your list looks like my list :)

Pam, I’m so glad to hear that about Goodman’s latest! I just bought it yesterday and can’t wait to start it soon.

Great list, Helen! I hope you enjoy them!

Buffie, you and I have such similar tastes that I bought RISQUE BUSINESS yesterday based on your raves. I’ll let you know what I think after I’ve finished it. ;)

Pam, I completely agree with everything you said about The Price of Desire. It was wonderful! I can honestly say I’ve never read a book by Goodman that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy.

I’m off to have breakfast with my grandniece at her pre-school’s Grits with Grands day but I’ll be back later!

I SQUEE’d yesterday when I realized Jo Goodman had a new book out. I’ll be picking up The Price of Desire immediately. I thought that If His Kiss Is Wicked was the best historical of last year.

Stacy, your list is short, but sweet. Enjoy catching up!

PJ, I hope you have fun with your grandniece. How cute — Grits with Grands!

IHKIW was my favorite historical of last year, too, MK. In fact, it’s one of my tops of all-time.

Thanks, Buffie! Gotta finish a couple of review books first and then I’ll be ‘allowed’ to read it. LOL

Hey, Andrea, what a fantastic list coming up for September. I’ve read both The Dangerous Duke and Risque Business (they’re by fellow Romance Bandits). And they’re both fantastic – highly recommended.

I know, Anna! We are really spoiled by all the great releases!

Buffie, you must try Goodman. These last few are loosely connected by character associations but don’t really need to be read in an order at all, I’d say go righ to If His Kiss is Wicked and then the newest, and if you love them, A Season to be Sinful. That one was my first Goodman read and had me looking for the next, now I have some of her backlist in the TBR pile.

Lucky me, Hostage to Pleasure was in my mailbox today!

Has anyone read Cafe au Lait by Liane Spicer? I loved that book, and I can’t wait for a sequel. I also have Can’t Say No by Bette Ford, but haven’t read it yet. I bought her Island Magic some years ago and totally liked it. I must have a thing for Caribbean escapades, and Spicer really takes you there.
