You cannot go past Maria V. Snyder’ s POISON STUDY triliogy. It is absolutely the best series ever written and it is a story line which will never get boring nor is it predictable in anyway. The novel is also an excellent read for anyone; it would be even better if it was a film!

Without a doubt : Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I haven’t loved a book this much since first reading Wuthering Heights as a teen. While yes they are very romantic novels, they are also great history, sci-fi and wonderful adventure novels too. Really there is something for everyone. I would just hate to see Outlander made into a network tv mini-series because there is no way to make this a good show and make it pg. I would also prefer not to see it made into a movie because there is no way to cut enough to make it into an under 3 hour show and still have you care about the characters. Too much there. Please HBO or Showtime pick this up!

I world love to see J R Ward black dagger brotherhood made into a cable series. I thank her series are the romance noverls I have read so far. Thay have a perfect blend of romance and action. Not to mention they’re the sexy vamp ever.

The Virgin River series would be an awesome tv/movie. Also Nora Roberts The MacKade Brothers.

Any of Judith McNaughts books….they are wonderful. I would bet that if more movies were made from these romance novels they would be box office hits, I mean look at all the people who buy these novels….I know I am one of them!!

JRWard’s black dagger brotherhood SHOULD be made I to a HBO or cable series!!! True Blood has rocked and ward’s books are way better. I’d SO love to see them as an ongoing series.
Also poison study by m snyder would rock as a movie.

Yes the OUtlander series would be a great choice. But so would anything by Shannon Drake. Even Cassie Edwards “Savage” Series.

I think several of the Amanda Quick novels would make a great quirky, British TV series – they have humor, interesting plots, and strong characters. And Outlander, of course, especially – or only – if it had a great screenplay, actors and director.
