Oh Maria…I’ve been on the diet from heck since September….well my version of it! Lost 32 pounds, but am cranky whenever my blood sugar drops too low. But it sure is nice buying smaller sized clothes!
Congratulations Suzanne, it is so much fun to wear smaller size clothing.
Trish, it’s so much harder to exercise and eat right in the winter. The whole season (particularly in the North) suggests cozying up with a good book while drinking hot chocolate in front of a warm fire, NOT going for brisk walk in the frozen tundra.
Sadie – I used to be an exercise fanatic – now my idea of getting the blood flowing is the exercise I get when I lift my coffee cup to my mouth. Now that takes a lot of discipline.
I believe in being healthy, but it’s so hard to do in the 21st century. I wish I were a pioneer woman where walking was something you did to get somewhere, not something you do to loose weight. And after you churned the butter you could actually eat it guilt free. I mean if you’re chopping wood, growing your own food and running down to the creek for water every day, who needs to count calories?
Christine if we were pioneer women we wouldn’t need will power to loose weight, we’d just have to get up every morning at get on with the business of living.
Romance Novel TV is on partial hiatus. Maria and Marisa are currently reviewing for Barnes and Noble at B&N.com’s Heart to Heart blog. Our reviews are featured every Monday and Thursday.
You can also see more articles on books and romance by Marisa at Heroes and Heartbreakers and Maria at her website where she talks about television and production.
We frequently post segments of our B&N reviews here, as well as reviews of new books we’ve read not featured on B&N. At present, we’re not producing any new videos, but we do have plans to resume in the future.

Quite the dilemma, isn’t it? And it’s so much easier and more fun to exercise when it’s warm outside, not when it’s 15 degrees.
